Reda El Chaar, is an acclaimed Lebanese serial entrepreneur, who has established and led multiple successful companies involved in power generation, mining for energy minerals, and real estate.
In March 2019, he was featured on the cover of Forbes Middle East under the headline “THE SILENT UPRISING – With a sharp eye for investment in renewable power, real estate, and mining, Lebanese serial entrepreneur, Reda El Chaar, has become a trailblazer in emerging markets”.
Since 2017, Reda has been recognized by Arabian Business Magazine as one of the 40 under 40 most influential business figures in the Middle East. In the last issue, Reda took the 8th position on the list.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurship journey, Reda pioneered and led the renewable energy initiative at ACWA Power, which went on to become one of the largest private power producers in the Middle East and Africa region. Prior to joining ACWA Power Reda worked for Unilever.

In Reda's Words
Building Access Holding to what it is today has been fun and rewarding. Perhaps the biggest reward I got out of the success of Access Holding and its subsidiaries was finally having the ability to do what I "want" to do. The following quote from Oprah Winfrey perfectly sums it up:
"Do what you have to do until you can do what you want."
With Access Holding, I have done what I had to do. Today together with Celine, at Recee AS and its subsidiaries I am doing what I want to do. For as long as I can, I want to wake up every morning knowing that I am working for Recee, trying my best to give her a chance to live in a better world than the one we live in.
